Website Showcase

Website Showcase

Since 1997, I have developed many personal and professional websites which span a vast variety of uses. I have never formally advertised my Web development services, and most of my past clients learned about my skills and abilities via word-of-mouth. Each website is developed to the exact specifications set forth by the client.

From 2010 through 2012, much of my professional time was spent as a Web Developer at Marshfield Clinic where I created and maintained many different websites and applications for both internal and public-facing entities. My work at Marshfield Clinic was consistently commended by head management, as can be reviewed in the Testimonials and Honors section of my portfolio. Since much of my work at Marshfield Clinic was internal, it is not available within my portfolio.

Technical Experience: I have developed websites and applications using the following technologies.

Many examples below are included for historic reference and not indictive of my overall skill set; these examples do not include any internal or NDA work I've done recently.

Integrating Safety into Agritourism

Integrating Safety into Agritourism

URL: http://safeagritourism.com/

At the request of National Children's Center for Rural and Agricultural Health and Safety (NCCRAHS), I was tasked with redesigning the original DotNetNuke website while also migrating all of the content over to the WordPress platform for easier maintenance by staff. The new site was mobile optimized and built as a custom WordPress theme. A central component of the site is an interactive walkthrough that quizzes the user on proper safety protocols and presents the information in a responsive format.

""...it really looks great. Thank you so much for all your hard work...your work has exceeded my expectations for the site.""

""It looks beautiful, this topped off my day, thanks Matt!""

""We have received a lot of very positive feedback on the website.""

The Marshfield Area Community Foundation site was initially developed in late-2005 to mid-2006, with periodic updates and assistance conducted by myself throughout 2009. The site was fully redeveloped in 2015 in a fully responsive and mobile-friendly manner using modern HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript techniques. This website uses a simple content management system backbone to ease with updates and maintenance by the organization's staff.

"Wow, is all I can say! You are really something! Thank you!"
